CQU International celebrates at E-Party

The former CQU International held an Exit Party last week which incorporated a farewell to Director of Marketing Gabrielle Rolan.

Held at Lavenia James’ home, the party has been reported to have been a very fun evening with most International staff, as well as some ‘ring-ins’, attending.

PhotoID:3222 Lavenia, along with her close friends Chrissy, Rakiza, Tanya and Monika (among others), prepared a feast fit for a king. This came complete with a hangi, or lovo as it is called in Fiji.

Later in the evening they also hosted a gathering on a mat around a large bowl of kava, an age-old herbal drink, which Chrissy had prepared.

“It was a lot of fun to be involved in the Fijian culture in this way,” former CQU International staff member Angie Jones-Field said.

Danielle had arranged a DJ who got everyone up for a dance and did a very good job of satisfying the various age groups.

“I wanted to thank La and the rest of the girls for the function, but also for having been so strong in the face of this lengthy restructure.”.
