Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

Audience welcome for Junior Robotics this Sunday 

Staff, students and community members are welcome at the 4th annual Central Queensland Junior Robotics Competition hosted by CQU.

PhotoID:3068 The competition will be held on Sunday August 20, from 10am to 3pm in the drama and music areas of the Creative Arts precinct of CQU Rockhampton (buildings 4 and 5).

The robotics competition involves school children, both primary and secondary, competing in various robotics categories.
