Published on 30 July, 2009
CQUniversity is once again a co-presenter for the Queensland Music Festival Song Trails program, from July 27 to August 2.
Song Trails is a series of FREE songwriting workshops in which participants (secondary students as well as adults) can tap into the wealth of skill and experience of specially selected workshop leaders, Peter Farnan, Rebecca Barnard, Scott Edgar and Robert Forster.
Boom Crash Opera's guitarist Peter Farnan has curated a team of highly skilled and awarded songwriters for the Song Trails Central tour. Joining Peter is Rebecca Barnard formerly of Rebecca's Empire, Scott Edgar from Australian comedy act Tripod and Robert Forster, joint co-founder and songwriter of one of Australia's most iconic bands, The Go-Betweens.
Workshops will be held in Moranbah (July 27), Emerald (July 28), Rockhampton (July 29), Bundaberg (July 30), Nanango (July 31) and Brisbane (August 2).
