Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

Off to Keppel for international students 

Newly arrived PhD student Ajay Krishnamurthy receives his winning ticket to Keppel Island from Kathy Ramm, Manager, International Systems and Compliance, CQU International.

PhotoID:2842 The day trip to Keppel Island on Saturday April 8 will be one of the many social events organized by the International Student Alliance (ISA) group. The trip will be co-hosted by the CQU International Office and Student Association.

Two free tickets were kindly donated by TravelCrew. The other winner was Sukhjinder Singh who was unable to attend the draw. Mr Singh is currently enrolled in the Master of Information Systems Program.
