Direct Edge Reaches Out to World

Direct Edge, the full service training company and business unit of Central Queensland University, has been invited to submit a Request for Tender to deliver procurement training, assessment and associated administrative services from the South Australia government. The SA government needs a single service provider to develop learning material and assessment instruments, provide competency assessments, and training.

Direct Edge already provides similar services in Queensland and New South Wales.

“Because we’re closely linked to expertise at the Faculty of Business and Law, we’re able to provide full service to these government agencies and focus on the most critical component of the procurement business... the people doing the purchasing,” explained Ricki Jeffery, General Manager, Direct Edge.

The reach of Direct Edge may go far beyond the boundaries of Australia. It is currently in negotiations with the United Nations to deliver a wide range of training and profession development services to the organisation.

Direct Edge Corporate Development manages a Diploma, Advanced Diploma and Degree in Purchasing & Materials Management delivery.
