Feedback session confirms start of language courses

Last week's information and feedback session to discuss the proposed introduction of ethnic language courses for Rockhampton district residents proved very successful.

Organiser Rema Dhanasekar said the audience participated very well during the questioning session and an expression of interest form was distributed to participants.

Those who were unable to attend the session are also invited to complete an expression of interest form by emailing r.dhanasekar@cqu.edu.au .

The ethnic language schools modules are communicative, student-centred and outcome-focussed materials.  Hence it is expected that these language schools may improve communication among family and community members and to keep cultural traditions alive.

Ethnic language schools are planned to start on April 21, first Saturday of the Queensland school term, provided all the requirements and processes are completed.
