Campus Aims for a Co-operative Community

Staff at the Gladstone campus recently attended a Continuous Improvement Day organised by Head of Campus, Associate Professor Robert Prater.
Mr Prater said the day-long program provided the opportunity for staff to learn more about the various aspects of the campus.
“By being better informed about what’s happening around the campus we can all benefit as we will be more likely to see connections within the campus and more able to contribute to activities across the campus and with the wider community. “The day was also an opportunity to interact with colleagues, get to know them better, and to raise issues about the future development of the campus.
The event also allowed an exchange of information between Rockhampton and Gladstone staff.
Dr Andrew Wallace said some of the talks had updated his understanding of the work being carried out in various divisions of the University.
Feedback from staff will form the basis for organising other activities aimed to further develop the campus as a co-operative community.
