Central Queensland University\'s performing arts students will gain hands-on experience in back-stage production techniques thanks to a new parternship with Rockhampton\'s Pilbeam Theatre.
Around 40 Bachelor of Performing Arts (BPA) students will work alongside the Pilbeam\'s professional staff on a revolving basis throughout the year.
BPA lecturer Emma Killion said the arrangement was a boon for the students and the theatre.
\"The students are looking forward to real-life experience,\" she said.
