Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

Chicago 'razzle dazzles' the Con

The Central Queensland Conservatorium of Music will burst into life as the hit musical Chicago takes the stage from August 21-23. The show has been a favourite with audiences around the world and comes to Mackay featuring the talents of the CQCM Bachelor of Music Theatre students. Brisbane identity Trevor Green will direct and choreograph the non-stop dance and music performance. Mr Green choreographed the 2001 Goodwill Games and has created a stage spectacular that will delight audiences young and old.
