Benefits await alumni who reconnect with Uni

Over 60,000 of CQUniversity's graduates are located all around the world and, over the past 40 years, the University has lost contact with some of them.
"The University is currently seeking to locate and reconnect with 13,917 of our lost alumni, as they are missing out on the opportunity of accessing a range of benefits and initiatives, which could assist them throughout their life and their career journey," said Graduate Relations Manager, Jo Nitz.
Benefits of being connected include:
- Library Access (electronic databases and catalogues)
- Career Development Service
- Alumni Discount Study Program
- Bookshop Discounts
- Be Magazine, E-newsletter, Facebook and Twitter
- Networking Opportunities
- Assistance to locate former classmates
"We are asking anyone who has been out of touch with the University, to contact us so we can reconnect them and introduce them to the range of benefits on offer as an alumnus of the University.
"In addition, we are currently making changes to the Graduate/Alumni website, so it becomes more of a resource for our alumni; shortly graduates will be able to obtain monthly career and management tips from our high achieving and inspiring alumni.
"Employment opportunities are becoming increasingly competitive, job seekers need to take initiative and stand out from the crowd, so it is a great way for the University to support alumni, by not only providing them with discounted study and other initiatives, but also with first-hand tips from our high profile alumni."
Graduates have been asked to email the Graduate Relations Manager via email graduate-enquiries@cqu.edu.au, phone 07 4923 2898 or update their details online by visiting the Graduate/Alumni website http://www.graduates.cqu.edu.au/.
