Published on 16 July, 2003
CQU's Central Queensland Conservatorium of Music will take an active role in the 2003 Mackay Festival of Arts, from July 19-25.
The festival is now driven by the Mackay City Council and is a collaborative project with key identities within the city, including CQCM.
The CQCM input will include lunchbox concerts, hosting of a pottery exhibition, performances for a Wine and Food Day and provision of bands for the 'Tasting Mackay' program.
Organisers are expecting about 15,000 people throughout the week.
