Former Gladstone resident Angela Barram did not have to travel far to get her foot in the door of the global employment services industry.
The degree she started at CQU Gladstone and completed at CQU Rockhampton has led to a consultant position with the Rockhampton office of Manpower Services (Australia), part of a global Manpower network of 4300 offices in 67 countries.
Ms Barram, who studied human resource management, psychology and welfare subjects, said she was aiming to become a functional HR manager within a strategic HR department of an innovative and growing company.
She said she found her CQU experience useful because it provided theoretical and practical exposure in the field.
"CQU provided up to date software and facilities and had the flexibility I needed," she said.
