CQU community urged to support toy run

If you own a motorcycle and would like to support the Salvation Army then grab a gift and join the local Harley Owners Group on the annual Charity Toy Run this Saturday November 29.

CQU staff and students who can help should assemble at the Rockhampton Police Youth Club at Stapleton Park at noon for a 12.30 departure.

The group will travel down Dean St, Norman Rd, Yeppoon Rd, Old Rocky Rd into Yeppoon and along the beachfront to the Pine Beach Hotel at Emu Park.

A barbecue lunch and cheap drinks have been organised followed by some fun activities and best bike judging.

All gifts will be donated to the Salvation Army Christmas appeal and distributed to those in need.

If you can’t attend please drop a gift off at any of the local motorcycle shops.

Show your support for this worthwhile cause and make the day memorable by attending.

Those without motorcycles are asked to show your support by waving to the bike riders as they pass by.
