Of the 110 Chancellor's Cup attendees, 86 students and staff from around Australia will be flying into Melbourne for the annual event.
As Melbourne is the sports capital of Australia, participants will also be attending this Friday's AFL match between arch rivals Carlton and Essendon at the MCG, which promises to provide an exciting atmosphere and a great opportunity for students from various states and numerous home countries to experience a quintessential aspect of Australian and Melbourne culture.
The event will give students an excellent opportunity for social and cultural engagement as well as the chance to show off their sporting prowess by representing their campus.
It is hoped that such events will continue to enable students to foster a strong sense of community, both at campus and University level.
