Uni donates to emergency relief efforts

The CQUniversity community is saddened by the loss of lives and devastation in Victoria's fires and the North Queensland floods, Deputy Vice-Chancellor Professor Angela Delves said.

"As far as we are aware all staff and students are safe, but we know many, including alumni, are close to people affected by these tragedies and our hearts go out to them all," Professor Delves said.

"The University will respond to any students suffering hardship as a result of these natural disasters, and provide support services such as counselling to any student in need.

"Also, the University has donated $10,000 to emergency relief efforts in both states."
