CQU student heads for Queen of Clubs national final

CQU Rockhampton student Kendall Lane is heading to Darwin this week for the national finals of the ‘QC Girl International Model Search’.

Kendall, a second-year Bachelor of Performing Arts student, won entry to the national finals after a nightclub competition in Rockhampton earlier this year.

The QC Girl Model Search is a worldwide event staged via discos, clubs and resorts – hence the title Queen of Clubs.

According to the QC Girl website: “It is the search for a young woman who is independent, talented, fashion conscious and with a character which is both friendly and vivacious. Contestants come from all walks of life although most have modelling experience. Since starting in Australia in 1988 it has become a major international promotion drawing entrants from over 30 countries. It reflects a modern approach to model contests, is highly contemporary, lots of fun and the girls are refreshingly natural on stage.” Details are available at: http://www.proconleisure.com/QCGirl/ ENDS
