Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

Rocky Horror Show limerick winners 

Thanks to those who entered our Rocky Horror limerick competition, and congratulations to those who won double passes to the Horrors in Rocky event, to be held on Saturday evening, April 20, at the Great Western Hotel bullring.

Lo! Their car suddenly stopped too soon....

Upon a door they did knock...

Didn't they get a shock...

And Janet turned into a loon CAROLINE................................

There's a story about a girl and a lad...

Who ended up at a party quite mad....

There were happenings there...

That gave them a scare...

And turned them from good into bad! KAY WOLFS................

At the CQU's Horrors in Rocky! PAT MORAN................................

Horrors in Rocky is at 8pm and 10pm on Saturday, 20 April, at the Great Western Hotel Bullring.

Tickets ($10 per show) are on sale now at the CQU Student Association in Rockhampton or at the Great Western Hotel. It is presented by Rockhampton Tourist and Business Information, with performers from the Central Queensland Conservatorium of Music. Sponsors are Ten Queensland, Sea FM and McDonald\'s.
