Info sessions on Self Review and Trial Audit

Information sessions commenced this week to share the findings of last year's Self Review, to provide details about the Trial Audit which is currently in progress and to provide an update on the October AUQA Audit.

The Self Review was conducted in December 2004. It involved more than 70 hours of interviews, group meetings and focus groups, to assess the University’s performance against the Quality Management Framework (QMF).

Information sessions will continue next week. These are open to all interested staff. The remaining sessions are:.

The second major preparation activity is the Trial Audit, which commenced at the Sydney International Campus earlier this month, and continues next week, with Panel Leader Professor Gus Guthrie being accompanied to the CQU Sydney International Campus by Dr John Grant.

Dr Grant (pictured) has served in senior positions at Commonwealth, State and institutional levels in the schools, TAFE and higher education sectors. In recent years he was a Visiting Fellow at the Australian National University, Director of the UNESCO Centre and Chairman of the Australian Capital Territory Accreditation and Registration Council. He is a member of the Queensland Ministerial Advisory Panel on Higher Education.
