Academic Governance reviewed

CQU Council's commissioned Review of Academic Governance has concluded following extensive interviews with more than 100 CQU and CMS staff, students and members of Council. A report has been presented to Chancellor Rennie Fritschy and shared with Council.

Vice-Chancellor John Rickard has been charged with addressing the issues raised in the Report and bringing forward an Action Plan to respond to recommendations. Following consideration and approval by the Council, members of the University community will be strongly encouraged to participate in its implementation with a view to raising the standard of our academic governance practices across the University.

"This is an element of our overall strategy of looking at the way we operate and determining  how and where we can make improvements to the quality of our programs, procedures and services," explained Professor Rickard.
