Melbourne campus celebrates Australia Day
Published on 08 February, 2007
CQU Melbourne International Campus celebrated Australia Day with platters of lamingtons, Australian native flowers, green and gold balloons and an Australian slang competition.
The event celebrated what is wonderful about being Australian, emphasising our tolerance, our multicultural diversity, ethnic backgrounds, racial differences and political viewpoints in Australian society.
Posters and brochures were distributed to students.
The campus also promoted the abundant official Australia Day festivities and events around Melbourne and Victoria through the City of Melbourne and the Victorian Government’s Australia Day Victoria.
