Six students from CQU Melbourne International Campus attended a reception at Government House recently (March 15) as part of a week-long celebration of International Education in Victoria.
Campus Director Mr Darryl Stewart accompanied the students to the function where they joined some 450 Victorian students for an official welcome and tour of the stately building.
The students also had the opportunity to meet and be photographed with Governor John Landy and Melbourne Lord Mayor John So.
Each Victorian educational institution with international students was invited to select students who are new to Victoria to attend.
This is the second year the Victorian Government has celebrated International Education Week and, in addition to the reception, an International Education Fair was held at the Melbourne International Exhibition Centre and many institutes ran other celebratory activities.
