Judith kicks off concert series in Mackay
Published on 26 February, 2009
Mackay audiences will once again hear the magnificent sounds of the Stuart and Sons grand piano as Judith Brown kicks off the Central Queensland Conservatorium of Music (CQCM) 2009 concert series with Judith, Stuart and Friends, from 6pm on Wednesday, March 11.
Judith is all about sharing her love of music with fellow musicians and fans and is looking forward to presenting in her first free concert performance: Mackay's "20 to 1" Most Favourite Songs and Music.
Judith BrownAll will be revealed on the night - so it will be anybody's guess as to what are the favourites and what will emerge as number 1!
Judith will be joined on stage by founding member of the Ten Tenors, Kim Kirkman, for a musical extravaganza.
So who is Stuart you ask? It's the Stuart Piano - the Con's pride and joy. A handmade innovative piano which was the ninth of its kind to be made to order in Australia. The excellent quality of sound is attributed to attaching the piano strings to the soundboard, resulting in a piano that sounds unlike any other.
