Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

Chicago set to jazz up Mackay! 

Central Queensland Conservatorium of Music students are ready to dance and sing up a storm in their exciting musical production of Chicago in the coming weeks.

PhotoID:855 The choreographic talents of Brisbane’s Trevor Green and the energetic cast of Bachelor of Music Theatre students will excite audiences for three nights and a matinee performance. Mr Green choreographed the 2001 Goodwill Games and this showstopper is another spectacle not to be missed.

The show is an exciting mix of dance, music and drama set to a jazzy score that will keep your toes tapping from start to finish.
