Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

Research student finalising 'Work Life Balance' survey 

Research student Ataus Samad is keen to remind people that he is finalising the 'Work Life Balance' survey he is conducting for his Masters degree.

Participants can choose an Online survey.

Those who prefer a hard copy survey form can contact Ataus via his office at Rockhampton Campus, Building 19/G.13, or on a.samad@cqu.edu.au .

This survey is different to CQUniversity's Work Wellness study, which is also open for feedback.

If anybody is interested in the summary results for the 'Work Life Balance' survey, they can contact Ataus and results will be provided as soon as his research is completed.
