Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

Rocky students look forward to World's Biggest Orchestra 

CQUniversity Bachelor of Music students are looking forward to taking part in the World's Biggest Orchestra as part of the Queensland Music Festival in Brisbane on July 13.

Jazz legend James Morrison will be challenging the orchestra sections to show how powerful the huge ensemble can be. LINK HERE for more details

In the shorter term, our Music students are also preparing for the next Big Night In at Rockhampton Campus from 7.30pm this Friday, May 24.
