Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic & Research) Ron Davies has announced details of the Central Queensland University Staff Development by Research program.

Any continuing CQU academic staff member who is admitted to candidature in a research higher degree at Central Queensland University, commencing before 31 March 2003, will be guaranteed a funded Research Training Scheme Place.

Candidates will need to apply through the normal process of completing and submitting an application form and will need to meet entry criteria to be considered in the usual selection process.

Applications for research higher degree admission at CQU are presently open. Application kits are available through the Office of Research on 07 4923 2602.

“We’re encouraging staff to consider the challenge of a research higher degree at the university,” said Jennifer Brett, Research Higher Degrees Officer, Office of Research. Applications for admission will be accepted up until 14 March 2003.
