Uni proud to support NAIDOC Ball

CQUniversity is pulling out all the ‘bells and whistles' to ensure the 2010 NAIDOC Ball is a huge success this week.
Up to 400 people are expected to attend the ball which will be held this Saturday July 10, from 6pm at the University's Community Sports Complex.
Nulloo Yumbah's Vicki Pascoe and Robina Mann prepare for this weekend's NAIDOC Ball.The event has been jointly hosted by Nulloo Yumbah, the university's Indigenous Learning, Spirituality and Research Centre and Central Queensland's Aboriginal and Islander Child Care Agency (CQAICCA).
Nulloo Yumbah's Acting Co-Director, Vicki Pascoe said the University was delighted to be involved in this great event as part of its engagement with the local community.
"The ball is the highlight of the NAIDOC calendar and it will be the first time the ball has been held at the University.
"We hope that we can continue to support and provide the venue for this event in years to come."
The presentation of Miss and Mr NAIDOC will take part during the Ball's festivities this Saturday. Thirty-six contestants are vying for the sought-after titles.
