Campus Christmas Fun

Sixty staff members from CQU Mackay celebrated the festive season recently with a Christmas lunch for all academic and general staff held in the Refectory.

The organising committee of Kerry Millar, Lyn Forbes-Smith, Diane Walshe, Marilyn Ingham, Sue Ilich and Annie Webster did an excellent job arranging the traditional Christmas fare which included roast meats, roast vegetables, apple strudel and Pavlova.

Red, white and green was the colour theme for the day and two prizes were awarded for the most festive outfit.

During the lunch, Head of Mackay Campus, Phillip Clift, presented Bernadette Howlett with a Meritorious Staff Service Award for her 15 years of service to CQU Mackay. Congratulations Bern!.
