Melbourne's higher achievers recognised

High achievers from CQUniversity Melbourne were pleasantly surprised with a phone call from the University advising them of an event to recognise their top results in the previous term...

This recognition was based on an analysis of the University's results of Term 3 2008 courses.

The analysis identified 17 Melbourne students who scored top marks.

There were also 50 other students securing either the second or the third top mark.

The top students were recognised at a small luncheon event sponsored by CQUniversity Melbourne's Marketing & Recruitment Department, organised to promote the program Study with Family and Friends.

The State Director Associate Professor Ken Bruce took great pride in honouring the students in the presence of the lecturers and tutors who had taught these students.

The opportunity was also taken to bestow University's awards to 3 Melbourne students for their outstanding marks based on the criteria specified in the Student Handbook for 2008.
