Mackay graduate features on American TV

Music theatre star Peter Saide has lived, worked and played in over 20 countries in the 6 years since graduating from the Central Queensland Conservatorium of Music in Mackay...

Lately he's appeared on American TV's 'Huckabee' Show in his role as Bob Gaudio for the Las Vegas company of Jersey Boys. LINK HERE for highlights from the TV show.

Peter's vocal talents and ability to play the tall, handsome leading man has established his career, with previous roles including 'The Prince' in Cinderella (alongside Tony Award-winner Lea Salonga) and Tony Manero in Saturday Night Fever.

He still credits Conservatorium lecturer Garrick Jones as his major influence, alongside top industry mentors who came to Mackay.

Peter said the past year had been the best of his life so far, with milestones aplenty on the professional and personal fronts.

"I am a permanent resident of the USA and I am married! My wife Harriette is living here with me in Vegas ... I can't believe where I am and what I am doing. It truly is a thrill and a blessing to be performing at the top of my industry."
