CQU gives a helping hand

Central Queensland University Golden Key International Honour Society joined with local community groups and Central Queensland News in bringing Christmas cheer to an Emerald family over the festive season.

CQU Emerald campus staff and Golden Key members had been collecting non-perishable food items and small toys for their Adopt-A-Family.

The presents were donated to the Emerald Neighbourhood Centre.

CQU representative Janice Moriarty said Emerald campus was pleased to be a part of this worthwhile cause.

The Golden Key International Honour Society is an international organisation, which rewards excellence.

The society invites the top 15% of undergraduate students to become members, in recognition of their academic success.

CQU Emerald campus has four Golden Key members.
