Major lead-up to Relay for Life tees off

Scottvale Park Squash Ladies have arranged a major fundraiser leading up to the Relay for Life weekend at CQU Rockhampton (May 20-21).

The Squash Ladies are encouraging 3-person teams to enter a fun charity golf day at Rockhampton Golf Club, on Sunday March 26. Entry forms are available at Scottvale Park or by calling Kaye Kidd on 4934 8274.

PhotoID:2531 Squash Ladies spokesperson Kaye Kidd said one of the motivations behind the golf day was to provide support and incentive to club member Shaz Daye, who has terminal cancer.

Relay for Life culminates in a fun overnight team event at the CQU sports oval, raising money for the Queensland Cancer Fund. Sponsors of the Relay include CQU, WIN TV, The Morning Bulletin, SeaFM and the AMP Foundation.

Details about Relay for Life team registration are available by calling 1300 65 65 85.
