Brisbane students have a wild time

CQUniversity Brisbane students recently enjoyed a unique and exciting day at Australia Zoo on the Sunshine Coast, where they spent the entire time experiencing action and adventure.

Students learnt about Australia's native (and other) animals at the Crocosseum Show. Highlights of the show included a huge saltwater croc launching a strike on its prey and the giant wingspans of birds flying around, while in the water below a 4m reticulated python swam freely for everyone to ogle.

Following the show, students had a guided tour of the zoo and were able to hand-feed an Asian elephant and kangaroos. A few brave students also had their photos taken with a python wrapped around their arm.  No Australia Zoo trip would be complete without cuddling a koala!
