Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

CQU InfoTech represented at HP Enterprise summit

CQU Information Technology Division will be represented at HP Enterprise's Asia Pacific Media Summit in Singapore next week (July 4-6).

Adrian Yarrow, Manager - Corporate Systems, will be involved in round table discussions and will be called on to deliver a presentation on CQU's use of HP technology.

The HP Enterprise summit is designed to bring together the IT company's senior executives, partners and analysts to share developments with business, industry and IT journalists across the region.
