Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

Recital features Russian and French works 

The sounds of Russia and France will flow from the hands of pianist Regis Danillon at a recital at Central Queensland Conservatorium of Music in Mackay next week.

PhotoID:674 Regis will perform a program of Russian and French works with guest artist Kirsten Kerr on violin at the Conservatorium Theatre in Mackay on Saturday June 14 at 8pm.

Regis is a lecturer in keyboard studies at Central Queensland University in Mackay. He also has an established career in Queensland as an accompanist and soloist in concert with many world-renowned musicians.
