Former Rockhampton Campus student Jodie O'Brien has created Love Me Love My Pet, Australia's newest unique dating and friendship website...
The now Brisbane-based Jodie says www.lovemelovemypet.com.au is "designed specifically for those who love their furbabies, feathered, slithery or scaly friends and who would like an easier way to connect with those of like mind - both for you and your beloved pets".

Jodie (maiden name Munro) completed her Arts degree in 1996 and her Arts (Honours) in 1998, having lived on Capricornia College from 1994-1996.
As a fresh graduate she worked at the Capricorn Local News from 1997-1998 and then moved to America where she married her husband Tom. [They met on the dance floor at the Flamingo nightclub in Rockhampton in 1997 when Tom was in town with the US Marines].
Jodie and Tom moved back to Australia, along with their dog, in 2006. They soon added another dog, and this year, a "human puppy", to their family (Leia is now 5 months).
"Being animal lovers ourselves we know how easy going and friendly pet owners can be," Jodie says.
"With that in mind, we are striving to make our website different from others. We are endeavouring to run a website where people feel safe, have fun, and are assured of honest and caring stewardship of its participants, and contents. We are not a big corporation, just a loving couple trying to help animal lovers find each other."
