The Capricorn Coast Arts Festival is once again sponsored by CQU, with the University's $1000 acquistive award earmarked for the best 'Flora and Fauna' entry.
The Festival is due to be launched on Friday, May 2, and the Exhibition will continue at Yeppoon Town Hall until May 11, with viewing from 9am to 5pm each day after the launch.

First held at Yeppoon on the Capricorn Coast in 1997, the Capricorn Coast Art Festival has continued to grow and attract major sponsors.
As it enters its 12th year it is one of the most significant art festivals in regional Queensland and has national recognition. The competition prize money totals $20,000 across 13 categories.
