Central Queensland University is helping to stage the first ISANA International Education Association Conference to be held outside a major urban centre.
(ISANA is short for International Student Advisers' Network of Australia, but the conference name has been broadened to include a much wider range of participants).
The conference, at Rydges Capricorn resort from October 8-10, will include speeches by CQU's Professor Stewart Marshall and Associate Professor Kerry Mummery.
It has been organised with help from CQU staff including Judy Macfarlane (co-chair), Dee-Anne Emblem, Lavenia James and Jacqui Muller.
The conference is the annual gathering of international educators from Australia and New Zealand, including advisers and counsellors, exchange coordinators, liaison officers, language and study skills staff, marketing managers, government officials, agents and researchers.
