Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

Digital Animation and Photographic Art competition closes Friday

The closing date for the Digital Animation and Photographic Arts (DAPA) competition is today, Friday October 27.

Junior and senior entries are welcome until close of business on Friday in the Photoshop, Photography and InDesign categories.

Entries should address the theme: \'It\'s fun to be friends\'. Cash prizes and certificates will be awarded and the best entries will be exhibited on the CQU website.

The competiton details are now on www.cqu.edu.au/dur in the \'What\'s On\' section.
