Up to 200 year 10 students from Rockhampton's The Cathedral College were on campus this week as part of career planning activities.
The students took part in interactive activities relating to a variety of careers.
Activities included exercise and sports science agility testing, a physics parachute activity, an engineering overview, creating a creature for the bachelor of multimedia studies, marketing sessions, professional communication and a nursing overview.
Promotions and Recruitment Officer Aimee Bartlett said the career days were designed to inspire the teens about career possibilities and help guide them with their subject choices for years 11 and 12.
"We hoped to open their minds to what they can do in the future to be what they want to be."
