It is not often that you can wander through the halls of science and education but last week (November 20) CQUniversity Gladstone opened its doors for the public to explore the university world...
Both the Centre for Environmental Management and the Process Engineering and Light Metals research centres were open for tours as well as informative talks on what it means to go university today.
CQUniversity Marketing Coordinator Sheryle Gherardi talks with student Jared Feehely at the open day in Gladstone."So much is happening at CQUniversity Gladstone, especially with our partnerships with the likes of Rio Tinto and Gladstone Pacific Nickel, that we really want to showcase what we offer the region," CQUniversity marketing coordinator Sheryle Gherardi said.
CEM's Kelly Jacobs talks with Adam Balkin about the interesting topics the Centre researches."It is not just about university study, we have some fantastic services offered by the research centres that people may not know about," she said.
