Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

New website for Psycho-Social Health Research 

IPP-SHR (International Program for Psycho-Social Health Research) is pleased to announce its new website.

The website provides users with full information relating to IPP-SHR’s work including current and previous projects, publications, affiliated organizations, staff details and news items.

PhotoID:3003 Additionally, the website provides a portal for full online access to the Austral-Asian Journal of Cancer (AJC) and IPP-SHR’s international newsletter, 'Psycho –Social Update'. The website will allow users to subscribe to the AJC and register to receive a print copy of 'Psycho-Social Update'.

IPP-SHR is a collaborative initiative jointly funded by the National Health and Medical Research Council and Central Queensland University.
