Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

Healthy advice at Noosa Open Day 

Visitors to CQUniversity Noosa's Open Day have the chance to have health checks, including blood pressure testing at the Nursing information booth.

Education and Social Work booths will also operate for the event, from 10am-2pm this Saturday August 28 at the facility at 90 Goodchap Street, Noosaville.

There'll be entertainment and food for the whole family, while students will have access to details on degree and career pathways and Centrelink income support.
