Sydney conducts student tours

CQU's Sydney Graduate Campus this week conducted group tours for all new students that have commenced in term 3, 2006.

Students met at the Client Services department and an advisor then led groups of up to 15 students on a tour to familiarise them with campus facilities and support services available at the University.

It was also a great opportunity to meet other new students and frontline support staff from departments such as the Learning Skills Unit, TECC (Training, Employment and Career Coaching) and the Faculty.

“This new intake of students are really eager, asking lots of questions on the tours,” commented Sarah Upatham, Student Advisor on the campus tours.

At the end of the tours, the Client Services department gave out prizes and signed up many of the students for the Sydney Harbour Cruise that will set sail on Thursday December 7.

In total there were nearly 200 new students that participated in the campus tours in addition to their usual Orientation session.
