Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

Bachelor of Property students and industry professionals will gather on October 9 for CQUniversity's second annual half-day property conference...

The Australian Property Institute - Queensland Division is helping to promote the event, which includes sessions on 'the property market and local impacting factors' and 'recent legislative changes affecting property'.

The conference hub at Rockhampton Campus will be video-linked with participants gathered at Mackay, Gladstone, Emerald and Bundaberg campuses.

Professional participants will be able to register points towards their Continuing Professional Development. Interested members of the public are also welcome to attend.
