Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

CQU Rockhampton hosts tax, constitution seminar 

Ian Henke will present an information seminar on the Debit Tax system and the Australian Constitution tonight, September 24.

Ian Henke is the Executive Director of the Institute for Constitution Education and Research. He was associated with the British High Court ruling that the Governor was appointed incorrectly.

This seminar is open to all comers and would be well worthwhile for law and political students. It will be held in building 32 room 1.28 lecture theatre.

The seminar is free of charge but a gold coin donation would be appreciated.

Ian is here from Melbourne and the proceedings will be compared by 4RO's Jeff Goodwin with questions from the audience at the end of each talk.

The seminar starts at 6:30pm and finishes at 9:30pm.
