Members impressed with Foundation's plans

Director of the CQU Foundation Anne Gribbin and Foundation project officer Tony Gubbins met up with a number of Foundation members this week at a special afternoon tea at the Old District Court, Rockhampton City Campus.

PhotoID:553 Foundation members Ron and Helen Diamond, Merilyn and Frank Luck, and Dr Merv Gold and Norma Davies attended the function which included a tour of Rockhampton’s Heritage Post Office which is to be the headquarters for the recently established Central Queensland Health Partnership.

Mr Gubbins said the members were impressed with the Partnership and the plans for the Post Office building.

“They were very supportive of the Foundation’s plans for the building and also gave some suggestions,” he said.

The group also discussed other plans of the Foundation and were impressed with the Down Memory Lane booklet which was published last year.

“The group was very positive and keen making it a very successful afternoon.” Photo: CQU Foundation Director Anne Gribbin, Norma Davies, Tony Gubbins, Frank Luck, Ron Diamond, Merilyn Luck, Helen Diamon and Dr Merv Gold.
