The Government of Pakistan plans to provide 5000 postgraduate scholarships to their citizens for higher education during the next 5 years.
The visit has played a vital role in attracting higher education candidates from Pakistan to Australia especially at CQU.
The ambassadors visited key organistions in the capital Islamabad as well as Rawalpindi, Lahore, Faisalabad and Karachi.
Credit for the success of this trip also goes to Professor David Midmore, who provided some of his personal contacts in Pakistan.
