Roadworks open at CQU Rockhampton

The Facilities Management Division was pleased to open Stage 1 of the roadworks to traffic on Tuesday, February 8.

PhotoID:1690 The section of roadway from the intersection of University Road through to Archer Place has been upgraded to provide a safer entrance to CQU, with drainage, curbing and channelling that meets current road standards.

The Division would like to thank all staff and external clients for their patience and cooperation during the construction period.

The remaining section of roadway will be completed under traffic. It is requested that caution be exercised and traffic controller directions be followed.

All asphalt work for the remaining section is scheduled to be completed by March 2, 2005, with only line marking and signage to be carried out after that date.
