Moving tribute honours postgraduate student

A small gathering assembled at Central Queensland University Melbourne International Campus last Tuesday to honour the memory and academic achievement of Ms Aanchal Sharma (deceased).
On behalf of the Chancellor, Rennie Fritschy and Vice-Chancellor, Professor John Rickard, the Campus Director, Darryl Stewart made the presentation of the award of Master of Accounting (Posthumous), together with the appropriate set of academic robes, to the Guest of Honour, Surekha Sharma, Aanchal’s mother. Accompanied by her daughter, Anshu Sharma and close family friends Mrs Sharma accepted the award in a moving tribute to Aanchal.
Speaking on behalf of the family, Anshu reflected on the life and achievements of her sister.
Other guests and staff expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Mrs Sharma and her family for allowing them to share this memorable and moving recognition of Aanchul’s considerable achievements.
